At the grand finale of our most prestigious inter-campus spelling bee, our students dazzled the audience with a dazzling display of spelling skills. The event, which took place in March 8th, 2024, drew praise from parents and staff as they saw the exceptional display of spelling skills by students who had worked hard to prepare for it.
The aims of our intercampus competition have certainly been accomplished, leading to a marked improvement in the vocabulary of our participating students and a rise in their self-assurance.
The parents of our children also had the opportunity to witness the remarkable progress they made, and they wholeheartedly applauded their excellent performance.
Ms. Seyi Onumanyi, the event organizer, highlighted the importance of the competition in building confidence, motivation, and dedication to excellence. She mentioned that the school’s decision to host the inaugural intercampus spelling bee was driven by the recognition of how external competitions and national spelling bees can boost students’ motivation.
